HOLY INNOCENTS EPISCOPAL CHURCH
Lahaina, Maui, Hawai'i

On Tuesday, August 8, 2023, wildfires ravaged the island of Maui, destroying the town of Lahaina. Holy Innocents Episcopal Church's buildings were one of the hundreds of structures that succumbed to the fire. Three years later, we are happy to see the ash and rubble cleared and homes being rebuilt, but the commercial area along Front Street where Holy Innocents once stood, is largely undeveloped due to coastline setbacks and other issues. Fortunately, our 'ohana is still able to worship together each Sunday due to the grace and generosity of the Honolua United Methodist Church in Napili, who has allowed us to worship in their lovely space.

We ask for your continued prayers and support for the people of Maui and all those affected. The journey forward continues.
